Bought 8 shrimp individually and I chose my specific colors I wanted. I was sent 10 and unfortunately one orange rili didn’t make it, but I am very satisfied! Was packaged nicely and the rest are very active. I did get a random small baby, not sure if it was an accident or if I had a pregnant shrimp.
I received red Rili shrimps instead of orange ones. Red Rili shrimps were the only ones missing in my tank _by choice_. At first they looked pale red, I thought they were just stressed from the shipping and would turn orange later, but now they are bright red Rili shrimps. Beautiful, but not what I wanted. Would be nice if I could still get my orange ones :/

All of the shrimp arrived live and well! There were even a few extra in there and they all survived acclimation. I especially like the orange rili shrimp because they have such a wide variety in their pigmentation, making each shrimp unique and fun to look at. The picture I included shows some of the extremes of pigmentation on either end of the spectrum (ignore the isopod, this isn’t about him), but the majority of the shrimp are more in line with the photo on the website.

Was surprised they all made it safe & sound, survived the night too, idk if people are not having the correct water set up before arrival or what but I’ll def be ordering again. Zero issues!
Pretty happy with the cost and fast shipping. Some of the rili were clear, but most are a nice quality. Would definitely buy again.
My shrimp tank is a big hit with my whole family, especially the grandkids. I’m considering upgrading to a larger tank so I can add more “colors”.

This is the 4th order I have gotten from shrimp up and still has not let me down. The packaging is great and the shrimps arrive alive and healthy and are already breeding. They are so fun, easy to care for, and so pleasing to look at. Highly recommend this company! Will be buying more in future. Shrimp I have gotten from them: cherry, orange rilli, and skittles.
So cute and fun to watch. Great packaging and no deaths upon arrival. In fact, they had babies!!! One of them is so fun because it actually hangs out on my hand.
Shrimp arrived in 3 days, but I had to keep them in the bag one more day as I was setting up a work tank. I ordered 10 and received 11 adults with some bonus tiny shrimplets. Despite the extra day all 12 survived and are good looking too.
They all arrived alive and are doing great! They sent me plenty of extras as well just in case. There was a minor shipping delay but they responded to my inquiries in a reasonable time frame and order shipped exactly when they said it would.

Some happy buddies, 10 on the button, all arrived alive, if a bit chilly. After drip-acclimation they are scooting around and grazing. Will be grabbing another breeder pack for sure.
We’ve had good luck with our breeder pack! Although communication about shipping was slightly confusing .. they arrived a week and 2 days after we ordered them. They got here (mostly) alive , the shipper was nice enough to ship extra so we ended up with 11 live when the the pack is supposed to contain 10, bonus points for that! They are very lively and fun to watch explore, would recommend for sure!

Great service from ShrimpUpAquatics. I was worried because I ordered unaware of an approaching winter storm for the Midwest. They took care to wait out the worst of and sent my package very well insulated with sawdust. Hand warmers/heat pads may have killed them! I ordered five Orange Rili but received 9 or 10 including a very egg filled female. Only one was DOA, rip little buddy. I drip acclimated in a black bucket in low light to avoid stressing them so it was hard to count/see the exact amount. But after two days in the tank I’ve been able to count 8 out at one time. They look great although a few are mostly completely orange as can see in the photos and some orange and black. I’m not sure if this could be due to where they are in their molt but overall satisfied with the shrimp. Their health means more to me than appearance and given their activity I’d say they are solid in that regard. Will order again.
We ordered 5 skittles and 3 orange rili and 3 red and blue rili. They were a little small at first and we did lose one in transit, but there were additional shrimp in the bag. I think my favorite was the lone “ghost/snow” shrimp. We have enjoyed watching them. We are setting up a new tank for just shrimp, in the hopes of having babies and shrimplets, and will be purchasing our breeder packs from shrimp aquatics.

Everyone came safe and sound and looked so vibrant and healthy! Adjusted very well to the tank and has been having a great time making friends with the other shrimp that were already there. The orange rilis remind me a loot like creamsicles or little orange-and-white cats with their patterns and colours and I love watching them skitter around!
ShrimpAquatics has the best customer service! Thomas really gives individual attention to us nubbies! My shrimp came to me in a lively group and they are so much fun to watch in my tank. My Betta tried to be king of the roost, but the little guys are wicked fast. The Betta has now backed off, lol he got bored.
Incredibly well packaged despite the box looking dropped on its corner by the delivery carrier. I think the impact killed the freebies, so I was sad at loss due to their carelessness. A few didn’t make it overnight but the surviving ones are doing well and keeping my tank looking cute. I’ll definitely order again and just hope ride isn’t as bumpy next time.
They sent me 11 but one was in 2 pieces. So ended up with the 10 I ordered. Will buy again.
Shrimp arrived in good condition. A couple days later there was one dead shrimp in the tank so pretty successful batch. Two are already carrying eggs. I'm excited to see the population grow.
