Shipping Schedule

 

Monday: All Order Types.

Tuesday: All Order Types.

Wednesday: All Order Types.

Thursday: Dry Goods and Merch Orders.

Friday:  Dry Goods and Merch Orders.

Saturday: No Shipping.

Sunday: No Shipping.

 

 HANDLING TIME : 

At Shrimp Up Aquatics, we want to ensure that your order arrives in the best possible condition. Please note that handling times may vary based on specific circumstances:

  1. Temperature Considerations: If temperatures in your area fall outside the safe range for shipping, as indicated in our temperature cutoff section, we will hold your order until a suitable shipping window becomes available. For extreme temperatures, especially during winter and summer, we recommend selecting UPS Next Day Air for optimal conditions.

  2. Our Area Temperature: If temperatures in our area are not within the range required for shipping live animals, we may need to delay the shipment until conditions improve.

  3. Public Holidays: During public holidays when USPS or UPS does not deliver or pick up, there may be a delay in shipping.

  4. Any orders that are placed after Wednesday 6am PST will be scheduled to be shipped the following Monday through Wednesday

Once your order is shipped, you will receive shipping information and a tracking number to monitor the progress of your package.

Please note that selecting UPS Next Day Air does not guarantee delivery the day after your order is placed. Similarly, Priority Mail 2-3 day shipping does not imply delivery within 2-3 days of order placement. The stated timeframe represents the transit time after the package is shipped and does not include handling time. Please allow an additional 1-9 days for packing and handling. Rest assured, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

If destination temperatures are unsuitable for shipping, we will hold the order until a safe temperature window is available within our acceptable range, depending on the chosen shipping service. We prioritize the well-being of the shrimp during transit. 

PS For the month of December we transition to Monday through Tuesday instead of the typical Monday through Wednesday for shipping schedule to avoid delays and DOAs as live arrival is number 1 priority:)

Orders with Live Animals and Plants:  Flat Rate of $9.50 for USPS Priority (2-3 Days Transit)  If Less Than 30$ Spend - Free if order is over 30$

Flat Rate of $15.50 UPS 2 DAY AIR (1-2 Days Transit)  If Less Than 30$ Spend - 6.95 if order is over 30$

Flat Rate of $49.95 for UPS Next Day Air Saver (1 Day Transit), Only for Lower 48 States. Free if order is over 249.99

For the safety of our animals, we will only ship orders with Nano fish with UPS Next Day Air.

Orders shipped to Alaska might be more expensive. Contact us regarding Alaskan Orders and we will send a custom invoice.

USPS:

USPS has a commendable track record of delivering packages on time, rare shipping delays can occur due to circumstances beyond anyone's control.

Rest assured, our packaging is designed to ensure the well-being of the invertebrates. Even if there are unforeseen delays, our carefully crafted packaging can keep the shrimp safe for weeks, provided they are not exposed to extreme temperatures. We prioritize the health and survival of our aquatic creatures throughout the shipping process.

Additionally, we stand by our Live Arrival Guarantee, even in situations where carrier delays may occur. We understand that certain circumstances are beyond our control, and we want to assure you that we take responsibility for the safe arrival of your livestock.

 

How Are Our Animals Packed?

we take extraordinary care in packing our fish and invertebrates to ensure their well-being during transit. Our meticulous packing process involves the use of breather bags, specifically designed to facilitate oxygen exchange through the bag walls. These bags are then thoughtfully arranged within an insulated box, fortified with additional insulation material to provide maximum security for the animals. To maintain optimal conditions, we include heat packs or cold packs when necessary, and this comes at no extra charge. With years of experience shipping live animal packages, we have developed our own temperature guidelines for the precise application of heat or cold packs.

Where Do We Ship?

We are delighted to offer shipping to all 49 states within the Continental United States. Unfortunately, due to stringent customs restrictions regarding the importation of live animals, we are unable to ship live animals to Hawaii or Puerto Rico. However, we are pleased to inform you that we can ship Dry Goods to these destinations. For further assistance and to place an order for Dry Goods, kindly reach out to us at shrimpupaquatics.com.
