BREEDER PACK - We created the breeder packs to ensure that hobbyists will have the ideal ratio to start a breeding colony. The Breeder pack will consist of 7 female and 3 male shrimp. For a total of 10 shrimp.

Bought the breeder pack, all arrived happy and alive, acclimated well and went straight to eating. Ended up with around 16 shrimp. Of these, 4/5 were top tier genetics and very pretty shrimp, the rest were closer to cull quality than I'd like, definitely was hoping for a stronger orange. But hoping they colour up a bit over time, and as I was supplementing an existing colony, this works out fine for me.

Got the breeder pack. All arrived in great shape even the extras. Transitioned easily to the new tank and are getting vibrant. I love how they look against the green plants and aquasoil! This is my first shrimp tank and I’m obsessed.

Ordered the 10 breeder pack and received probably closer to 20. 5 died on arrival and more died throughout the drip acclimation and first day but I still have 6-8 very solid shrimp that have very nice colors.
ordered 3 of these, got some extra & only 1 came DOA. always a great experience ordering since theyre shipped quickly & tend to do pretty ok in transit. all shrimp are thriving a week later.

I love my orange shrimp! I ordered 60 of them. They were packaged well. Pretty much all of them were lively when they arrived aside from 3. I was also missing 7 out of the 60 ordered. I filled out a DOA form on the website, which is an easy simple process. They reached out to me within a day and will be sending the 10 shrimp! There customer service is top notch and I truly appreciate it. Oh and a few of the shrimp already had eggs! I'm excited to have little ones soon!
I had a great experience with this store and their customer service. In my first order of 5 shrimp they sent me 9 buy unfortunately only one survived the trip. I contacted them to let them know, and they responded immediately and offered to send replacements free of charge, which I really appreciated. I’ve just received the second shipment, and this time 6 out of 7 shrimp arrived alive and healthy. The shrimp look active and in good condition, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that one of them was even berried (carrying eggs). That really shows the quality of their stock. I’m very happy with how the seller handled the situation. Issues can happen with live animal shipping, but what really matters is how the seller responds—and they were quick, kind, and professional. I would definitely buy from them again and recommend them to others looking for quality shrimp and reliable customer support.

Very active and entertaining to watch. Unfortunately a few died in shipping but other than that perfect.
I ordered 10 shrimp and had two DOA, but didn’t fill out the form cause I didn’t care, I was just glad I finally got shrimp. I was especially happy though that I got them two days before a big snow storm hit. All 8 survivors are now happily exploring their new tank and getting to know their new layout. I had a great shopping experience and will be ordering more shrimp after one of my newer tanks matures enough to house them safely!
Had one not make it but I believe it was the stress and cold temps that caused the DOA. But right now my Orange and Yellows are doing fine. Already have some molting done and one is berried. I think I will order more when it is not as cold. Looking forward to my next order.

Shrimp Aquatics really easy to talk to. If you’re trying to decide between red fire cherry vs. orange Sunkist. I would get the red fire cherry’s some of the orange Sunkist that was sent to me were low grade. They were see through. Their red fire cherry’s is higher grade. Overall this is my second time buying from them! 🔥
(Breeder pack) Shrimp arrived and got pregnant within 2 weeks. Only 1-2 deaths in transit, but there were more than 10 shrimp that arrived to offset those.
The shrimp are almost the size as my female betta (she is quite small) and the shrimp are almost fully grown really high quality and a few barried so hopefully Lola(my betta) doesn’t get any ideas of eating the baby shrimp lol. There were alot of extras and no Doa’s!
I love my new little friends. Watching them swim around and find every nook and cranny in their new home. When I ordered them I got them with another color of shrimp, and a few fish. And I was a little distressed to find they were all in the same bag. I had intended them for separate tanks and I fear the stress of moving them about trying to separate them all and culture the water made me loose more than if they were separate. I have lost 7 shrimp in total and from a count of 20 that is quite a loss. But other than that point (in which I should have looked into closer) everything showed up, and everyone who has survived the ordeal is happily adjusting to their new homes.
I ordered a breeder pack on a Saturday, which was shipped out on Monday and arrived on Wednesday. Thirteen shrimp were sent, and twelve of them survived the journey. The box was packed with wood shavings around the bag of shrimp for insulation and cushioning. So far all of my shrimp are thriving in their new home. I'll definitely be ordering more shrimp from Shrimp Up Aquatics when I set up my next tank!

My last order the UPS people did not treat to kindly, and half of the little guys were dead. The folks at shrimp up were very gracious and replaced the order. This time it came double boxed, and double bagged which was a good thing as the interior bag did have some leakage. Everyone arrived very much alive, and after a couple hour drip acclimation they went happily into their new home. Thanks Shrimp up!!
Two passed in the mail, but it was not the shipper's fault. They also sent two extras, so I got all ten shrimp. They are a very pretty color and look just like the pictures on the website. here is one on my mystery snail.
Incredibly well packaged despite the box looking dropped on its corner by the delivery carrier. I think the impact killed the freebies, so I was sad at loss due to their carelessness. A few didn’t make it overnight but the surviving ones are doing well and keeping my tank looking cute. I’ll definitely order again and just hope ride isn’t as bumpy next time.
